Job Summary
Health Benefits Advisor assists patients obtain medical insurance coverage and enrollment within the health center and during outreach services. The role requires 2-4 years of experience in human services or healthcare, knowledge of health care reform regulations (Virtual Gateway strongly preferred), and familiarity with managed care plans. The candidate must be bilingual in English and another language, with strong clerical/computer skills and good reading/writing abilities. Post-high school training is required; a BS/BA is preferred. Reports to the Supervisor of Health Benefits & Registration. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. Location: Worcester, MA (onsite). EOe.
