Job Summary
Conduct telehealth and face-to-face counseling sessions for clients in Cherry Hill, NJ, while adhering to a hybrid schedule of 50% in-office and 50% remote work. Independently perform intakes and diagnoses according to the DSM-5 under supervision, treating diverse populations including couples and children. Build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing, with flexible availability seven days a week starting at 7 a.m. The role supports Thriveworks' mission to integrate mental and physical health through a clinician-led, nationwide hybrid care model serving over 175,000 clients annually.
Required Qualifications
- Provisionally licensed individual pursuing New Jersey Licensure as a LPC in Cherry Hill, NJ
- Must reside within 45 minutes of the office location
- Ability to work in the office for the probationary period and then work a hybrid model (50% in office and 50% remote)
- A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety
- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor
- A behavioral health generalist who is open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children
- Invested in helping your clients achieve measurable progress
- Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing (preferred) according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor
