Health and Wellness Director

Directs daily operations of the Wellness Department in an Assisted Living/Senior Living community, overseeing a staff of Caregivers and Med-Techs. Leads hiring, training, and development of the care team; provides leadership to the management team; collaborates with residents to assess needs, document status in the electronic care system, and evaluate services. Oversees medication management, delegation to unlicensed personnel, budgeting and cost control, infection control, safety procedures, and service plans to maintain high-quality resident care. Requires an active RN or LVN license with experience in Assisted Living, geriatric nursing, gerontology, and hospice is a plus; strong leadership, teamwork, and responsiveness to residents are essential.
