Job Summary
Health and Wellness Director (LPN/LVN or RN) responsible for leading the clinical operations of a Cogir Senior Living community. Works with the Executive Director to assess residents’ health, functional, and psychosocial needs; initiates individualized service plans; maintains the medication program; oversees hiring and supervision of licensed nursing staff and care staff; provides hands-on training and staff development; communicates with residents' families; ensures compliance with all applicable laws and policies; participates in community marketing efforts. Requires nursing licensure (LPN/LVN or RN), preferred associate degree or higher in nursing, on-call flexibility, and strong organizational and leadership skills to manage geriatric care, medication delivery, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- An LVN/LPN or RN nursing license in good standing
- An associate degree or higher in nursing is preferred, or a combination of education and experience
- Current state-required certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and any other applicable credentials
- At least four (4) years working in geriatric nursing, including medication administration and delivery systems
- At least two (2) years in a supervisory/management role; experience with budgets, staff development, training, and scheduling
- Experience in Memory Care is preferred
