Job Summary
Oversee health and wellness programs for senior residents; supervise nursing/clinical staff; ensure regulatory compliance; manage the clinical budget; coordinate care conferences with families, assess residents for admission and care levels, train staff, conduct monthly/weekly reporting, and maintain resident safety and quality of life. Requires RN/LPN licensure, state nursing regulations knowledge, travel to assess residents, and availability for on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN licensure in good standing
- Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN)
- Preferred minimum of 3 years clinical leadership experience
- Working knowledge of basic technology and electronic documentation
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate judgment skills and independent clinical decisions in routine and emergency resident care matters
- High level of interpersonal skills for sensitive situations and documentation
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours
- Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to conduct resident assessments and required trainings
