Job Summary
Health and Security Intern position in Héroux-Devtek's Longueuil plant. The role involves participating in accident analysis, health and safety committee activities, plant walkthroughs, updating HSE KPI data, improving health, safety, and environmental practices, conducting mitigations with supervisors and management, preparing HSC reports, updating safety data sheets, providing HSE training, collaborating with maintenance, HR/OHS, purchasing, technical and production teams, creating and monitoring HSE alerts, following up on respiratory protection, participating in HSC meetings, inspecting workstations, conducting factory tours for safety compliance, updating SDSs, participating in accident investigations, evaluating workstations, contributing to preventive maintenance, and providing induction training. The ideal candidate is enrolled in a university program related to HR and Health and Safety, has completed at least two years of study, and demonstrates strong organizational, communication, teamwork, and autonomous work capabilities, with proficiency in English for international communications. The role emphasizes a collaborative, development-focused environment with opportunities for training and professional growth within a hybrid-friendly, tightly-knit manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
