Job Summary
Health and Safety Officer responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring health and safety policies across all operations. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with OSHA and Kenyan regulations, conducting site inspections and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing control measures, delivering safety inductions and training, organizing toolbox talks and emergency drills, investigating incidents, maintaining safety documentation, developing emergency response plans, and driving continuous improvement to promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, or industrial environments
- Registration with the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services (DOSHS) in Kenya
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification is an added advantage
