Job Summary
Drive the harmonization of SHEQ standards across European sites by leading audits, conducting risk assessments, and investigating incidents to strengthen safety culture. Oversee environmental management and sustainability projects while spearheading digital transformation through software configuration, dashboard creation, and workflow harmonization. Collaborate with regional teams to share best practices and facilitate discussions that advance safety and environmental performance. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Safety Science, three years of SHEQ experience, and strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. Full-time role with up to 15% travel within Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Science (e.g. Hogere Veiligheidskunde) or a Master's degree in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (Belgium)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable SHEQ or HSE role
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Experience with environmental management, risk analysis, and incident prevention
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong command of English
- Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 15%)
