Job Summary
Health and Safety Cluster Advisor for South East London cluster (London, Croydon & Goring-by-Sea). Provides clear advice to Senior Management Teams on compliance with applicable legislation, guidance and policies; supports implementation of safety obligations; demonstrates compliance to regulators (CQC, HIS, HIW, HSE, EA, local government) and collaborates with HSCL to improve safety performance and consistency across cluster sites. Coordinates H&S time allocation for sites, facilitates lessons learned from incidents, contributes to corporate policies and training projects, and escalates intolerable H&S risks with practical improvement recommendations. Requires Level 3 H&S qualification, IOSH registration (or willingness to apply), Fire safety skills, risk-assessment competency, contractor safety management, RCA/incident investigation experience, and audits experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years’ minimum experience in Operational Health & Safety
- Level 3 qualification in H&S Management
- H&S professional registration (IOSH) or willingness to apply for professional registration
- Fire safety skills
- Competency as a Risk Assessor
- Contractor safety management skills
- RCA / Incident investigation skills
- Experience undertaking audits
