Job Summary
Health and Safety Advisor for a Western Canada-based commercial construction contractor. Lead and promote the Health and Safety Program on multiple Calgary-area projects, mentor junior safety team members, conduct site inspections and safety training, manage injury reporting and return-to-work programs, prepare safety metrics and reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and support COR certification efforts. Strong emphasis on communicating with field crews and management to foster a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a health and safety role is required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Current First Aid certification
- Strong knowledge of WCB Alberta regulations, policies, guidelines, and standards
