Job Summary
Health & Safety Advisor (Nuclear North) responsible for delivering comprehensive HSE advisory support to site managers and project teams across Dalkia’s Nuclear North portfolio. Drive safe working practices, lead HSSE investigations, review risk assessments, RAMS and SSOW, support pre-qualification and bid processes, analyse HSSE data to inform decisions, and promote a positive safety culture. Role requires collaboration with senior leadership, subcontractors, and internal teams, with on-site presence at Heysham 1 and travel to other sites as needed. Requires NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent (qualification) and/or MIOSH/Chartered status; ideally 3 years HSSE experience in regulated environments including nuclear; knowledge of ISO 45001 and CDM 2015 advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- An industry recognised qualification such as NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent
- H&S MSc / Chartered MIOSH status (Preferred but not essential)
- Ideally 3 years of HSSE experience in a Construction/site environment
- Nuclear Experience Preferred
- Experience of maintaining or reaching externally audited management standards such as ISO45001
- Evidence of right to work in the UK
