Job Summary
Process orders and payments accurately at the register while scanning and keying items. Order, receive, stock, and merchandise Health and Body Care products, maintaining an orderly appearance of the register and HBC area. Handle merchandise returns and bag groceries according to PCC guidelines. Communicate effectively about PCC membership and programs. Requires a Food Worker Card, basic math proficiency, and availability for evenings and weekends. Starting wage is $21.55/hour with additional night differential.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
- Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication skills
- Must demonstrate basic math skills
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills required
- Background in cashiering or retail grocery industry and basic knowledge of HBC products
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
- A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
