Job Summary
Health and Benefits Sales Professional at Mercer in a hybrid role requiring at least three in-office days per week. Build and maintain a large book of business in the employee benefits and health space, delivering sales presentations, calls, and meetings; develop creative proposals, RFP responses, and pricing negotiations; lead complex account processes from identification to closing; conduct market research to identify growth opportunities; engage with account representatives and stakeholders to ensure service satisfaction; expand market penetration and explore cross-sell opportunities; participate in professional organizations and industry events to grow the network.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- Strong track record of achieving sales goals
- Experience selling to companies in the 1000 – 5,000 employee benefit space
- Experiential knowledge of the Employee Benefits or Health and Benefits consulting industry and products
- Strong network and ability to gain access to C-suite level executives
- Life and Health License (preferred)
