Provide direct care to students using professional assessment skills and established protocols while serving as a health advocate. Conduct state-mandated screenings, maintain 100% immunization compliance, and manage medication administration through the school's management system. Act as a health liaison between school, physicians, and parents to assess student problems, make referrals, and participate in health committees. Compile and file accurate clinic records, report safety hazards, and comply with federal, state, and district health regulations. Notify parents of accidents or illnesses and secure emergency medical care when necessary.
