Job Summary
Nurse Assistant role in Willcox Unified School District: provide basic health services under the direction of the school nurse, including first aid, illness care, and medication procedures; monitor students in the health office, document visits, contact families as needed, and maintain health supplies and records; perform vision and hearing screenings and handle related clerical tasks; requires patience, strong communication, good judgment, and ability to work with middle school students; 10-month contract with related leave provisions; location: Willcox Middle School health office.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent (CNA preferred)
- Competency in typing, working knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of common office equipment, machines and computers
- Prior experience with medical records and/or nurse assistance training preferred.
