Job Summary
Outpatient headache neurology role at Geisinger with hybrid remote work options. Collaborate with a system-wide team including other headache specialists, advanced practitioners, pharmacists, and nurse navigators. Responsibilities include clinical care for headache patients, teaching medical students and residents, and potential involvement in education initiatives. Ideal candidate will have headache fellowship training, strong clinical skills, and experience with nerve blocks and botulinum toxin for headache. Facilities include nearby access to neurosurgery, clinical neurophysiology, behavioral medicine, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and on-site labs/pharmacy with infusion centers available if needed. Eligible for faculty appointments and expanded roles in education; teaching opportunities exist with Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. Required Qualifications
- License in the State of Pennsylvania as a Medical Doctor (MD/DO)
- Board Certification in Neurology
- Fellowship in headache medicine
- Experience with nerve blocks and botulinum toxin for headache
- Ability to teach medical students and residents
