Job Summary
Physician opportunity for a full-time neurologist specialized in Headache Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center. Requires completion of an accredited Headache Medicine fellowship and BE/BC by ABPN and UCNS. Responsibilities include teaching medical students, neurology residents, and other learners, in addition to clinical care for headache and facial pain syndromes and conducting sponsored and investigator-initiated research supported by coordinators. The Center features an interprofessional team with a dedicated headache APN, psychologists, infusion center access, rehab therapists, and dietitians; faculty rank at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience and publications. The position emphasizes academic and clinical excellence within a large health system in New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship trained in Headache Medicine
- Board Eligible/Certified in Neurology and Headache Medicine
- Ability to obtain New Jersey medical licensure, DEA and CDS licenses
- BE/BC by ABPN & UCNS
- Track record of teaching medical students and residents
- Track record of scholarship
- Eligibility for a faculty appointment at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, with rank commensurate with experience and publication record
