Job Summary
Head Wrestling Coach at Moyock Middle School responsible for coaching wrestling at the middle/high school level, teaching fundamental wrestling skills, and promoting athletic excellence. Requires coaching experience, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to travel with the team for away games, and maintenance of field conditions, uniforms, and equipment. Role includes fostering positive school-community relations and serving as a positive role model while ensuring safe, engaging practice and competition environments.
Required Qualifications
- Middle School or High School coaching experience preferred
- Knowledgeable in sport for which application is being made and previous coaching experience
- Ability to teach fundamental skills of specified sport
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel with team on away games
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to high achievement for all students
- Maintenance of field condition along with being responsible for uniforms and equipment
- Foster a positive relationship between the school and the community
