Job Summary
Design and implement training, competition, and skill development plans for the club women's soccer program while recruiting and retaining students aligned with university values. Recruit and retain talented students to the program who are aligned with the university's values. Foster a culture of leadership, accountability, and academic success. Represent the program across campus and in the community. Serve as a mentor and role model to students, fostering a positive learning environment. Maintain compliance with all institutional policies and safety protocols. Additionally, support student recruitment and admissions, coordinate student success programming, and assist with athletic facility operations or event management as needed. Work extended days, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience coaching or playing soccer
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative, work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment, and manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment and to preparing students to lead and serve
- Ability to work extended days, weekends, and holidays
- Relevant coaching certification
- Experience coaching or playing soccer at the collegiate level
- Experience working in a setting of higher education
- Clear results of a thorough background check
