Job Summary
Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach for Randolph-Macon College to organize and administer all aspects of the lacrosse program on a full-time, 12-month basis. Responsibilities include establishing game plans, designing and implementing practice schedules and conditioning programs, supervising assistant coaches, providing hands-on instruction and game decisions, recruiting players and staff, coordinating travel and monitoring budgets, and developing fundraising and public-relations efforts in collaboration with Athletic Development. The role involves substantial travel during recruiting periods and requires a bachelor’s degree, collegiate coaching experience at the NCA A Division III level, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Head coaching experience or significant assistant coaching experience at the collegiate level
- Understanding of the Division III philosophy of athletics and commitment to academics are essential
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record by insurance standards
