Job Summary
The Head Women’s Golf Coach is responsible for managing all aspects of a competitive NCAA DIII women’s golf program, requiring strong relational skills and the ability to engage with students, alumni, and the community. Key responsibilities include developing a recruiting and retention plan for student-athletes, conducting day-to-day operations of the women’s golf team, coaching, developing competitive schedules, and ensuring compliance with NCAA rules. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and ideally three years of coaching experience, along with a proficient understanding of NCAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in higher education, sports administration, student personnel, business administration, or related field.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Effective communication skills with diverse groups.
Desired Qualifications
- Three years of college coaching experience in golf.
Additional Requirements
- Must score a 75 on the annual NCAA Rules Test.
