Head Women's Basketball Coach

Job Summary
Lead and manage all aspects of the Women’s Basketball program at Tiffin University, including recruiting, coaching, mentoring student-athletes, developing training plans, organizing practices and competitions, and ensuring NCAA and institutional compliance. Responsibilities include planning and leading practice sessions, in-game coaching, performance analysis, and preparing student-athletes for competitions; recruiting and retaining talent to meet program goals; fostering an inclusive, motivating environment; collaborating with athletic staff to support student-athlete well-being; monitoring NCAA eligibility and academic progress; coordinating team travel and budget/resource management; and representing the program in fundraising and community engagement activities. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong leadership and communication skills, and proven coaching experience at the collegiate level, with preference for NCAA Division II experience and knowledge of compliance policies. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, additional head coaching experience, recruiting experience at the NCAA Division II level, knowledge of analytics tools, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Proven experience as a head coach, assistant coach, or relevant coaching experience at the collegiate level, preferably in NCAA Division II.
- Strong knowledge of NCAA rules, regulations, and compliance policies.
