Job Summary
Head Volleyball Coach responsible for developing student athletes to high skill levels, collaborating with the principal and athletic director, and leading coaching staff to organize practices, pre-season planning, and game-day operations. Responsibilities include building positive relationships with students, faculty, parents, officials, and the news media; designing quality practice sessions; managing equipment and budget; and ensuring adherence to WVSSAC, WVBOE, and district policies while modeling ethical conduct and democratic values.
Required Qualifications
- Experience coaching at the school level.
- Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c and/or §18A-3-10, as appropriate
- Meet the qualifications outlined in WVBOE and WVSSAC Policy
- Demonstrate organizational and leadership skills
- Applicant will be required to bring sample conditions and practice plans.
