Job Summary
Teach beginner-friendly Tennis/Pickleball sessions for elementary school students (Grades K-5) at various Bay Area school sites, using provided lesson plans. Manage class sizes of 8–16 students, maintain a positive environment, attend a 2-day training or shadowing session, and interact with parents/school staff. Equipment is provided; opportunities include After School Program (about one hour class + possible 30 minutes pre-care) and Saturday Tennis Clinics, with potential to teach additional sessions. Programs run September–June across multiple sites; positions require in-person work locally with strong tennis coaching ability desirable. Certifications (USPTA/PTR) are a plus, and candidates must be able to travel to various school sites in the Bay Area.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Teaching or playing experience in Tennis is preferred but not mandatory
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have valid work permit to work in USA
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
- Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports
- Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work
