Job Summary
Manage the teller line, vault, and ATM operations while processing member transactions, new accounts, and loan applications. Balance daily teller, vault, and ATM accounts; maintain cash drawers and order cash supplies. Supervise preventative maintenance on ATMs and coin counting machines. Act as loan interviewer to disburse consumer and real estate loans. Conduct weekly and monthly audits of traveler's checks and money orders. Provide sales coaching to staff, track cross sales, and make outbound sales calls. Promote the Credit Union at after-work functions and community events.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years financial institution or retail sales experience and/or training
- Ability to use various technical platforms including Microsoft office (excel, word etc.)
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to foster strong member relationships
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous teller or retail experience
