Job Summary
Head Teller is responsible for assisting the Banking Center in meeting and/or exceeding branch profitability goals by generating new and/or managing existing customers and ensuring that efficient, professional, and quality VIP service is delivered through handling of various financial transactions. The role includes developing customer relationships, approving check cashing, leading the Vault Teller and a monthly rotation, supervising tellers, opening consumer and business deposit accounts (checking, money market, savings, IRAs, CDs), meeting deposit production goals, cross-selling ancillary products, and ensuring compliance and audits. The position requires ability to travel to other locations as needed, flexible scheduling including Saturdays, completion of new hire training in Lexington, KY, and an Associates degree with relevant experience. Supervisory responsibilities include staffing, training, and auditing teller activities. Strong customer service, teamwork, attention to detail, and knowledge of banking products and regulations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or the equivalent preferred
- Two (2) years of experience in a field that required face-to-face customer service skills and money handling; Banking or retail sales experience is preferred but not required
