Head Teacher Part Year - Van Wert

Lead Head Start classroom as Head Teacher in Van Wert, OH, supervise teachers, plan and implement the Head Start program for preschoolers to prepare them for kindergarten, collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Family Advocate, and families, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, supervise daily activities and materials, support teacher growth through trainings, conduct developmental screenings, participate in family engagement and male involvement activities, perform home visits and parent/teacher conferences to integrate intentional learning strategies, and meet all regulatory requirements. Requirements include an ECE Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent with related coursework) plus one year of experience, or an Associate’s degree with two years of experience. Ability to lift 40 pounds, valid driver’s license, travel within assigned service area, background check, drug test, and physical required.
