Job Summary
Head Teacher at Drueding Center within Redeemer Health, responsible for teaching, guiding, and supervising children 6 weeks to 5 years using a trauma-informed approach. Plan and implement lessons based on the Creative Curriculum and PA Early Learning Standards; ensure healthy, safe, positive learning climates; collaborate with parents and an assistant teacher; conduct appropriate assessments and develop lesson plans addressing all developmental domains.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education OR a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relating field such as Elementary Education, Child Development and Special Education, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education such as early childhood development, early literacy and assessment for young children and one year's experience working with children.
