Head Teacher 2026-2027 School Year

Head Teacher oversees leadership, management and supervisory duties to promote student learning while maintaining a classroom teaching role. Responsibilities include developing organizational plans, supervising staff, ensuring district policies are implemented, evaluating programs and expenditures, visiting classes, coordinating operations (transportation, food service, facilities), handling complaints, and partnering with universities for student-teacher placements. Teaching duties include planning and adapting lessons to meet student needs, using diverse resources and technology, assessing student development, maintaining a safe learning environment, coordinating SPED modifications, communicating with parents, and participating in professional development. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or higher and at least 10 years of teaching experience, and Wyoming teaching certification.
