Job Summary
The Head Swimming Coach will develop and implement practice plans to enhance technical and physical skills of high school athletes, lead the team during practices and meets ensuring competitive performance, and oversee athlete development through skill assessment and goal-setting. Strong communication with athletes, parents, and school staff is essential to promote a positive team culture emphasizing leadership and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience or high-level swimming experience at the high school or collegiate level required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect with and motivate student-athletes
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a team-oriented coaching staff
- Passion for the sport of swimming and a strong commitment to character development
- High energy, positive attitude, and a growth mindset
