Job Summary
Plan and initiate meaningful learning activities for Head Start children ages 3-5 years while assisting the teacher in conducting classroom activities, maintaining the environment, and supervising students. Support planning, record keeping, and other classroom-related duties within a 10-month schedule from August through June. Maintain Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment and pass all background checks and E-Verify requirements. This role supports the classroom team at Child Inc. centers across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
- Associate in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
- Must have the ability to work at any center regardless of location
- Must be certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid within 30 days of employment
- Must possess valid driver's license and insured automobile
- Must obtain a physical and TB skin test
- Must pass all criminal history background checks
- Must pass E-Verify
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months of experience working with children 3 5 years
- Bilingual English/Spanish
