Job Summary
Conduct classroom activities and supervise Head Start children ages 3-5 while assisting the teacher in planning, record keeping, and maintaining the learning environment. Maintain a safe and structured space through daily supervision and environmental checks. This 10-month position runs from August through June and requires a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification, and a valid driver's license. Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
- Associate in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
- Must have the ability to work at any center regardless of location
- Must be certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid within 30 days of employment
- Must possess valid driver's license and insured automobile
- Must obtain a physical and TB skin test
- Must pass all criminal history background checks
- Must pass E-Verify
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months of experience working with children 3 5 years
- Bilingual English/Spanish
