Job Summary
Plan and lead engaging classroom activities while conducting assessments to track child progress. Partner with parents to encourage active involvement and ensure an inclusive environment for children with disabilities. Incorporate health and nutrition activities to support wellness, supervise staff to foster a positive atmosphere, and assist with recruitment efforts to connect families to the program. This temporary role offers a salary of $21.88 - $33.62 per hour for 40 hours per week over an 8-week period.
Required Qualifications
- An AA or BA degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (as defined by the Office of Head Start)
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or the willingness to obtain it)
