Job Summary
Head Start Teacher responsible for delivering developmentally and culturally appropriate learning experiences across language, literacy, mathematics, social-emotional development, and creative arts using the High Scope framework. Will implement COR Advantage assessments, integrate individualized planning, support dual language learners, collaborate with families, conduct parent conferences, and maintain organized, high-quality learning environments. Roles include aligning activities with Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework (Birth to Five), following HSPPS standards, and engaging in ongoing assessment, documentation, and communication with parents and program staff.
Required Qualifications
- At least an associate’s or bachelor's degree in child development or early childhood education, equivalent coursework, or otherwise meet the requirements of section 648A(a)(3)(B) of the Act.
