Job Summary
Join our team as a Substitute Assistant Teacher to assist the Lead Teacher in implementing the Head Start curriculum, supporting preschoolers, and ensuring classroom safety. Must be available to sub a minimum of two days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Must complete 3 core units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development within 12 months of being hired
- A minimum of 15 hours of Child Health and Safety training
- Current Infant and Child CPR First Aid certification or complete these within 3 months of being hired
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Employment is contingent on completion of a pre-employment health screening
- Employment is contingent on receipt of a Criminal Record Clearance
