Job Summary
Assist in the preparation of nutritious meals and snacks for children in a family-style setting under the supervision of the Lead Cook and Center Manager. Follow pre-approved menus and recipes, adapt meals for dietary needs, document substitutions, monitor plate waste, assist with purchases within budget, maintain sanitation and safety standards, and keep records (production, temperatures, inventory). May help with some Lead Cook responsibilities in their absence. Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 90 days of hire and maintain it. Salary range $17.76-$19.21 per hour; location: St. Cloud, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to read and complete necessary paperwork in English
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
