Job Summary
Custodian for Head Start facility responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the center, assisting with setup and breakdown, loading/unloading materials, and basic maintenance. Performs routine custodial duties (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, window washing, restocking supplies) and supports safety/environmental practices. May assist with minor maintenance and grounds upkeep, operates basic cleaning tools, and participates in safety trainings. Requires ability to work 20 hours/week with hourly pay of $16.85–$18.05 and must obtain First Aid/CPR within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning tools and substances
- First Aid and CPR Certification within 90 days of hire and maintain thereafter
