Job Summary
Infant/Toddler Teacher in Head Start program responsible for classroom operations, planning daily schedules and weekly lesson plans, implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences, ensuring safety and sanitation, data entry and recordkeeping for all children, conducting family conferences and home visits, and collaborating with staff to support children's growth. Role requires delivering developmentally appropriate activities, promoting literacy and math readiness, managing hygiene and safety, facilitating transitions, documenting assessments, and engaging families in program services. Minimum qualifications include an Infant/Toddler Credential or comparable credential, High School diploma or GED, and CDA credential within 9 months where applicable; multiple pathway qualifications (AA/BA/MA in Early Childhood Education or related field with required experience) are described for Teacher levels. Hours are 40 per week; pay ranges from $18.53 to $21.53 per hour with annualized salary between $38,542 and $44,782. Required Qualifications
