Job Summary
Lead the Center Manager role by coordinating program development for Region V, XII, and Early Head Start services while ensuring compliance with federal standards and Tri-Valley policies. Manage center operations, including budget development, staff recruitment and retention, and facility oversight, to deliver quality services to families. Represent the center legally in the community, maintain up-to-date community assessments, and facilitate partnerships with local agencies and parent committees. Conduct annual performance appraisals, coordinate integrated services, and monitor curriculum implementation to support staff excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or 2 years equivalent experience in early childhood education, public or community health, social work, management, or another field directly related to the responsibilities of the position
- One-year experience supervising two or more staff
- One-year experience working in a leadership or management position
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Comfortable working with computers
- Valid driver's license
- Current/adequate vehicle insurance coverage
