Job Summary
Seasonal Substitute MES Outreach Coordinator responsibilities include data management and reporting, eligibility determination, and recruitment activities. The role involves inputting and validating data, conducting interviews to determine eligibility, explaining program benefits to families, promoting program awareness in the community, coordinating with TMIP and other states for course placement and records transfers, maintaining confidential client information according to federal/state/local guidelines, and supporting program operations through collaboration with school districts, Title I, Part C programs, community agencies, and agri-business partners. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, proficiency with MS Office, data systems (MSIX), and a commitment to advocacy and timely follow-ups for families and students. It also involves coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely school enrollment and course placement and providing timely follow-ups and records transfers.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or 2 years of equivalent experience in training, education, community services, counseling, office administration, business management, or related field
- Two years of experience working a diverse population
- Proficient computer skills to effectively perform daily responsibilities; systems to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and the internet. Willing and able to learn program-specific systems as needed for the position
- Proof of valid driver’s license and current/adequate vehicle insurance coverage
