Job Summary
Observe infant and toddler progress to prepare children for school while creating mentoring relationships. Facilitate family partnerships by working with parents to set goals, provide parenting education, and encourage active child participation. Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and integrate wellness through educational and health screenings per Head Start Performance Standards. Assist with recruitment efforts to connect more families to the program. This role supports early childhood development within the Head Start program at United Community Action Partnership, Inc. in Marshall, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Current Home Visiting CDA
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Family Services or related degree
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days
