Head Start Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher (Continuous Recruitment)

Maintain the safety and physical well-being of 15-16 children in a designated classroom while assisting with basic technical and administrative support. Document effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to relay pertinent information regarding child activities per established guidelines. Update and organize individualized developmental educational plans and assist in planning and facilitating classroom programming according to the High/Scope curriculum. Support social and emotional development through implementation of the Pyramid Model and Conscious Discipline programs. Work within the UW Oshkosh Head Start program from September through May/early June, with additional August hours, serving 384 children across seven centers in five counties.
