Job Summary
Prepare and distribute nutritious meals, maintain a clean and organized classroom environment through daily cleaning tasks, and provide necessary breaks for staff members while supporting a vibrant learning setting for up to 20 children. Carry out various daily tasks as directed by the teaching team to foster a nurturing atmosphere for young learners ages three to five. This active role requires frequent kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a mandatory initial health examination and periodic re-examinations to ensure safety. The position supports social competence and school readiness within NeighborImpact's comprehensive early education program, serving as an ideal steppingstone to the Assistant Teacher role. Candidates must possess a Food Handler's Card, current enrollment in the OR Child Care Division-Criminal History Registry, and access to reliable transportation, with Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent kneeling, stooping, bending, and sitting on the floor to attend to children's needs
