Head Start Assistant Teacher- Johnson Early Center

Assist classroom teachers in providing nurturing care to children, planning age-appropriate activities, and maintaining accurate rosters. Ensure the daily schedule is followed, serve meals and snacks, and maintain orderly program spaces. Complete daily parent reports, communicate with families, and comply with state regulations and risk management standards. Maintain required training hours and attend staff meetings. Follow the YMCA's mission while adhering to a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with potential evening or weekend coverage.
