Head Softball Coach

Lead varsity softball program at Wheaton Academy: develop and implement the program’s coaching strategy and vision; oversee spiritual discipleship and leadership development for players; provide daily coaching for the varsity team including practice planning and game prep; mentor all assistant coaches; lead team devotions; partner with the Athletic Director in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing coaches; manage program finances and budget; coordinate with the Athletic Trainer for player health and safety; organize team trips, community service, and school service activities; support college recruiting for players; plan and oversee summer camp operations; maintain timely communication with the athletic department, parents, players, admissions-referred prospects, and social media/website updates; ensure IHSA compliance and represent the program in conference activities; uphold the school’s Protestant faith requirements and demonstrate Christ-centered leadership. The ideal candidate brings prior collegiate playing experience and proven coaching ability, with a track record of leading teams toward a shared vision.
