Job Summary
Demonstrate visible commitment to student athletes, community, and instructional leadership while promoting positive character and school spirit. Manage the softball program with innovative ideas in and out of season, complying with SC High School League regulations. Motivate, relate, and maximize the individual potential of high school students on and off the field. This role may include teaching responsibilities and requires a negative TB test on file prior to starting. Applicants must submit a certified employment application, three classified references, a résumé, and a current teaching certificate through the online system by the closing date.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina teaching credential
- Secondary certification
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience at the middle/high school level in motivating and developing a championship level program
- A negative TB test
- Experience and innovative ideas in and out of season regarding the softball program
- The ability to motivate, relate, work with, and maximize the individual potential of high school students on and off the field
- High energy
- The ability to work well with others
