Job Summary
Part-time seasonal Head Coach for Women’s Soccer responsible for the technical, tactical, and personal development of players, including designing practice plans, teaching game strategies, and recruiting new talent. Duties include fostering a positive team environment, ensuring player safety and eligibility, and managing team logistics. Responsibilities also cover organizing and conducting effective practice sessions, leading the team during games with in-game adjustments, reviewing game footage, providing guidance on academic progress, promoting inclusive team culture, recruiting and retaining players, coordinating team travel, attending department meetings, and supervising assistants. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching at the collegiate or high school level and a bachelor’s degree with recruiting experience preferred, along with strong leadership and communication skills and a solid understanding of coaching techniques and game rules.
Required Qualifications
- Must have demonstrated success in coaching soccer at the collegiate or high school level, and/or as a soccer player at the college level.
- Bachelor’s degree and previous recruiting experience is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of game rules and coaching techniques.
- Leadership and communication skills.
