Job Summary
Head Shotgun Sports Coach at Hastings College (Part-Time, one-year appointment) oversees all shotgun sports program. Responsibilities include designing and implementing training sessions for skill development, providing individualized feedback, fostering a competitive and supportive team environment, and promoting athlete growth academically, athletically, and personally. Manages program administration including budgeting, travel arrangements, equipment purchases, and collaboration with athletic department staff on marketing, fundraising, and community engagement. Serves as a mentor and liaison between the program and other departments, advocates for student-athletes, and promotes sportsmanship and integrity. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least one year of experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
