Job Summary
Lead a dynamic pastry team to deliver a diverse menu of more than 40 fresh pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins. Operate in a high-volume kitchen with early-morning shifts (as early as 4am), maintaining strict attention to detail and food quality. Responsibilities include supervising staff, decorating pastries, managing inventory and ordering, ensuring compliance with food-handling and sanitation standards, and driving menu development. The role requires strong leadership, quick execution, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to health and wellness benefits for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of baking/pastry experience
- leadership experience in retail or food capacity
- ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- availability for early morning shifts (as early as 4am)
- compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
- experience with inventory/ordering
- formal culinary education is a bonus
