Job Summary
Lead engagement and development of Vineyard Managers and Viticulturalists to foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence across 3,200 hectares in Marlborough and Hawke's Bay. Plan all vineyard operations to optimize yield and quality while driving continuous improvement focused on operational excellence and efficiency. Review annual Viticulture Division plant and equipment requirements and operating budgets. Develop an industry-leading, high-performance workplace culture and embed a strong health and safety culture across teams. Report directly to the Group Operations Manager - Viticulture and Winemaking. This role supports Delegat's mission to build a leading global super premium wine company with state-of-the-art facilities in New Zealand and Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in viticulture
- Experience in managing large-scale viticulture operations
- Commercial acumen
- Proven experience working in high-performance environments
- Collaborative, growth-focused leadership style
- Excellent people management skills
- Current working knowledge and experience of relevant NZ WHS legislation and requirements
